NAQUASTE <na·kwa·stay> In gratitude for healing water.
What is the mission of Water Wellness? Our mission is to provide aquatic healing techniques that are restorative, renewing and relaxing for all people. These healing techniques are provided 1:1 in a private setting, group aquafit classes or through our Naquaste Water Wellness Retreats.
What is Naquaste Water Wellness Retreat? For each retreat, we will be immersing ourselves in the water, yoga, nature, stillness and community. These seasonal weekend or day retreats will be open to anyone that desires to experience the healing power of the water with Certified Land and Water therapists training in healing and transormative techniques with quick results.

The Intention of the Treatments
Watsu®-This aquatic bodywork is applied in cradling positioning and rhythmic movement for the participant to experience a deep, relaxed state. Participants describe the release of pain, trauma, and a feeling of experiencing another dimension after treatment.
AquaStretch ™-This aquatic bodywork technique is an aquatic myofascial release (MFR). It has two main purposes: to restore flexibility, and to obtain symmetrical movement
Dark Sensory Floating Meditation Sound Bath- A calming, full-body experience where you float weightlessly in warm water, surrounded by darkness and warm water to heighten your senses. Gentle singing bowl vibrations guide you into deep relaxation, helping release tension from both mind and body.
Pelvic Floor Aquafit-A special Aquafit class that focuses on reconnecting to your pelvic floor and core, blending breathwork and core exercises.
Mindful Scavenger Hunt-Invites retreat participants to explore with intention, using nature-inspired clues to spark presence, curiosity, and reflection. It’s a playful way to slow down and connect—inside and out.
Make & Take Apothecary - A hands-on retreat activity where participants create personalized herbal remedies and self-care items. Using natural ingredients, each creation supports wellness and offers a meaningful keepsake from the retreat.
Yin Yoga/Yoga Nidra: For this special yoga class, your instructor is mixing Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Yin Yoga is a slower paced meditative style than other forms of Yoga where poses are held longer. Yoga Nidra, also known as “yogic sleep,” is a style of deeply restorative guided meditation. Studies have shown 1 hour of Nidra is as restorative for the nervous system as 4 hours of sleep. In this session, clients will have the opportunity to relax; restore their body, mind, and nervous system.
Massage- Extend your relaxation even deeper with your choice of a 30-minute Swedish or deep tissue massage.
Pelvic Floor Workshop- Dr. Reshma Salvi, DPT, leads a gentle, informative session on pelvic floor awareness and wellness. Learn how this vital area supports posture, breath, and emotional health. Private consults with Dr. Salvi are available during the retreat for an additional fee.

CORPORATE SPONSOR TESTIMONY:
"At our company, we value the caregivers who are taking care of the home and children (especially caregivers of special needs individuals). Because if the home isn't taken care of, then that affects the outside world. But who takes care of the caregivers? They deserve a break! When I heard that Specialty Aquatic was looking for company sponsors to sponsor retreatant for their aquatic wellness retreat, I had the wonderful caregiver who deserves respite in mind and I immediately knew it was the right thing for my company to do. SPONSORED RETREATANT TESTIMONY:
"This Fall, I received an amazing gift of financial support allowing me to attend the Naqua-ste Retreat, This generosity helped me to attend without feeling guilty about spending money on myself. It taught me that self-care for long-term caregivers is not a luxury, but a necessity! What I discovered was an amazing community of support. The different water experiences, yoga and walking the retreat nature paths allowed a deep peace to settle in my spirit. I felt more connected with all the parts of myself- body, mind and spirit. I was able to process and let go of some of the deep medical trauma from supporting my son through numerous hospital stays and seizures. The grounds were beautiful and calming, and the food was delicious! I felt very pampered. Nicole released the left side of my neck from an old auto injury, allowing me to rotate left for the first time in over thirty years! I am beyond grateful for the financial support that allowed me to attend. The Naquaste Retreat really improved my quality of life. It provided physical healing, social support, renewed friendships and lasting joy that lasted long afterwards."
